Top Ten Training & Champions Trophy
Wednesday is designated to the big names. During the day Friendship participants will receive training from the Stars of the scene. In the evening four of them will jump into the saddle themselves.
During the Top Ten Training, experts like Ludger Beerbaum, Marcus Ehning, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Otto Becker and many more gladly pass on their expertise at the Bexter Hof. For many youngsters their dream will come true when they receive tips from their Idols, some of whom are only known from the television.
In the evening four of the top riders will show their skills during the Champions Trophy. This is an unusual and exciting event which is competed for under World Championship Rules. Not only will the riders present their own horse, but after only five minutes warm-up and familiarisation with a strange horse, will have to ride their rivals’ horses through the course - overall exciting and of course a shining example for the young German-Friendships riders.
Events
The event starts in all seriousness on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The teams have to prove themselves in
1.25 m and 1.35 m classes respectively. How well do the riders interact with the strange horse? Can the tips received during training be implemented? Does communication within the team work, even though there is a language barrier? Of course, after every class there will be an official prize-giving, but the real winners aren’t necessarly at the front...
Tournament party – Go East!
Combined success needs to be celebrated. The German Friendships offers an opportunity to do this at the big tournament party on Saturday. After the big success of the ‘Fiesta Mexicana’ in 2009, this year’s party will be organised by our Russian guests – atmospheric and colourful.
